The Case for Shrinking the Supreme Court
« on: October 20, 2016, 07:48:49 PM »
An interesting article about the Supreme Court.    The author proposes not filling a seat until there are only six justices left, returning the high court to it's historic six seats.  Would solve the immediate problem of Hillary (or Trump) filling seats.

Sounds like a good idea,  that won't go anywhere.

Yeah, sure...I'd be for it, even though it is going to slow the blood loss not cure the patient...but I would also be for reducing the Appellate Courts too...

Exhibit A: inventing a constitutional right to murder unborn babies

Exhibit B: inventing a constitutional right for fag marriage

Exhibit C: inventing a constitutional authority granting the government the power to force people to buy a service at the point of a gun!

Exhibit D: giving a pass on unelected bureaucrats exercising the authority to print regulations with the force of law to force people to do things against their fundamental rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness (pulled "property" in deliberations because uhh, duh, anybody threaten you or your stuff results in being shot on sight!) without any due process, assumption of innocence or trial with a jury of peers!
