First, Syria.

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/russia-denies-assad-blame-chemical-attack-course-collision-090747126.html

First off, I don't think we belong there at all....their crazies spill over another border, let those nations take the lead.  I just don't see this as our fight.  If anybody has a stake in it is Europe and the fact that they are dependent upon Russian pipelines.

Second, in this era of Deep State/New World Order shadow governments it is hard to tell real from fake...is this chemical attack staged like the fake Russia hack meme by the Deep State/NWO crowd or is this the work of Assad?

Frankly, eff this place, let Russia deal with it and any aftermath.

And the Nork's...

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ahead-of-trump-xi-summit-u-s-warns-clock-has-run-out-on-n-korea-215417128.html

Yeah, they suck, they have sucked a long time, and barring any change in the status quo they'll continue to suck...

And all this was made worse by Clinton and his idiot SecState's like that dog-faced Warren Christopher and the idiotic Madeleine Albright who gave the Chi-Com's the keys to patent office and who let the Nork's nuclearize!  And the Obama disasters Clinton & Kerry who did absolutely jack squat to reign these maniacs in!

And I have no problem with spanking these fools, after all the hostility was suspended with a ceasefire, this is no peace agreement in effect, but I would not be for going it alone unless it can be done without drawing in the Chi-Com's and without getting a bunch of South Koreans killed, or this could be another Waterloo.

A U.S. Navy strike group will be moving toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula as a show of force, a U.S. official told Reuters on Saturday, as concerns grow about North Korea's advancing weapons program.

Earlier this month North Korea tested a liquid-fueled Scud missile which only traveled a fraction of its range.

The strike group, called Carl Vinson, includes an aircraft carrier and will make its way from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity.

"We feel the increased presence is necessary," the official said, citing North Korea's worrisome behavior.

The news was first reported by Reuters.

In a statement late Saturday, the U.S. Navy's Third Fleet said the strike group had been directed to sail north, but it did not specify the destination. The military vessels will operate in the Western Pacific rather than making previously planned port visits to Australia, it added.

 ::facepalm::

It's like this was written by a 6th grader...

The Carl Vinson Strike Group CSG-1 is led by the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier, just say that, it's not "called"...don't try to be cute or go beyond the facts, unless you enjoy sounding like an idiot.  And it is not unusual for a carrier group on a WestPac tour to tool around all parts of the Asian Pacific and the Korean peninsula...the group just paid a visit to Busan last month, they are coming off a port call at Changi Naval Base, Singapore...another routine layover point...going back to the East China Sea area is no big deal and in itself doesn't portend anything ominous.  The Nimitz is coming off of EPIA and is about done working up and will be deployed soon to relieve Bush in the 5th fleet in a couple months, making the Vinson available for flag showing.

Idrees Ali better stick to his night gig as a gay hooker and leave reporting military matters to somebody with a brain...

Wow, this is something -

“China has a bottom line that it will protect at all costs, that is, the security and stability of northeast China... If the bottom line is touched, China will employ all means available including the military means to strike back. By that time, it is not an issue of discussion whether China acquiesces in the US’ blows, but the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will launch attacks to DPRK nuclear facilities on its own."

It is worth noting is that shortly after publication, the article seems to have been retracted without explanation, the URL now returning a "404" error. However not before the original article was cached on a webpage owned by China Military, courtesy of google.

But what may be the most notable part of the oped is the mention in the Global Times editorial that North Korea will not be "not allowed to have a government that is hostile against China on the other side of the Yalu River."  This implies that if and when the US initiate strikes on NK, the Chinese PLA will likely send out troops "to lay the foundation" for a favorable post-war situation.

In other words, China may be just waiting for Trump to "decapitate" the North Korean regime, to pounce and immediately fill the power vacuum.

If legit trump just his "green light" for the Chi-Com's...

Must have been somebody getting flexible on a trade deal if true, eh?

This is stupid.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3314568/navy-seal-training-north-korea-kim-jong-un/

Some times it is hard to tell shyt journalism trying to get a scoop on competitors from unofficial government leaks meant to distract a potential foe from a real plan...but I have to believe this is the latter.  I would not send in SEALs into Pyongyang...that is just beyond stupid.  But if I wanted to distract Un while I prepare a strike package to pound his nuclear facilities into rubble, maybe I would float this idea out there and officially deny it to make it look legit.  But even then...a strike package is no certainty either...everything, and I mean everything the Nork's have that is critical is buried deep under ground...they make WWII Jap's look like hillbilly gophers by comparison...they are born rodents.

Anyway...

I would prefer China deal with this scum...if that could in any way be put into play...

But I have serious doubts on that possibility...
