No, pal, yer not.  They have their own police/citizen clique and you're just another peon-citizen in their book.

Gotta love the sense of entitlement, though, doncha?  Were they there to "lobby" for us to be allowed to carry in the Capitol?  Bet not.

I'd like it to be a wake up call that causes a sea change in LEO sentiment away from government and towards the people but I don't know if that will happen.  I suspect it will cause some to change their attitudes and that may be the best we can hope for.
