Even Luther only had 95 complaints.  Leave it to the Feral Government to outdo the corruption of the medieval Church.

And that is just one piece of the modern "long train of abuses and usurpations"...   ;)

Due to the tanning taxes,  a friend with a hair and day salon,  got rid of all her tanning beds.   The new Barry tax was an additional TEN percent (on top of sales and other existing taxes etc).    The state also made it very hard for teens to tan in commercial tanning salons as well (basically banning it),  so it was a double whammy.

Went from being one of the most profitable things her shop did when she opened about a decade ago,  to becoming not even worth the trouble.   She tore out that whole area of her shop,  so it clear she believes she will never return to that business.

I have noticed that tanning shops that seemed to be everywhere around here and closed on mass.    Used to be landlords would find these shops to fill the leftover spots in buildings since people fight every smoke shop and fireworks place.
