I also like how auto-assembler jobs are destined for the dustbin! I mean what with the high cost of union labor, automation and forthcoming war on carbon coming...it is to be expected...

The woman that just gave me a lecture on flossing does OK for herself.

196. Broadcaster / $55,380
I always thought they did better. They are the stars of the show after all.
Never confirmed, but I heard the local evening newscasters are low 6 figures.

They get other perks...
* Not having to do anything but read copy on the teleprompter that comes right out of the White House, the DNC, local progressives...
* Interns to push around...
* Free addmission to progressive events...
* Free makeup and hairdressing...
* Passes to all the conventions and crap so they can muck it up with their leftist political heroes...
I mean if that appeals to someone...

Broadcaster. That will literally range from 7 figures in major markets, to bare minimum wage in Podunkville, USA. They all think they'll become starts, by slaving away in a small market for awhile, and so small markets get away with slave wages.

On the subject of broadcasters, I have a friend in radio. She has never come close to that $55k a year (she is one of the few that would deserve to make 55k, but her politics hurt her badly). Yup, some TV "stars" and even a few radio people do make good to excellent money but they are few and far between (and becoming fewer with syndication deals using up more and more airtime on radio). But most don't, even in major markets like hers. I think for her, making somewhere in the low 20's is about the best she can do, and she's been in the business over 15 years.
If she had been 20 years older, she would have have been far more successful, maybe even well known with a regular program on a major station and well liked by an audience. Not going to happen today I am afraid to say (she seems to know her career is unlikely to ever really take off anymore).

Salaries of Small Market TV meteorologists…Ouch! (http://freshaj.com/salaries-of-a-small-market-tv-meteorologist%E2%80%A6ouch)
Decent read.
Average salaries for small market TV (DMA >140) meteorologists range from a dismal $17,000 to $30,000. I’d be extremely surprised to hear of very small market stations paying more than $30,000. If there are, please do share!

Actually most Meteorologists don't believe in Global warming. That's why you rarely hear about them during the "debate".

You, yourself, know facts are not allowed in the debate.

Well, seems most of these big city types are guzzling the green goo...but it has been a while since I watched any local yokels...about 20 some years or so...
