Of course it took less than a week for her to come home with a cold, go figure.

Yup, it's that time of year! We just brought both my boys to college last Thursday. Our little one starts 4th grade on Tuesday.

Cute kid!

Got one more year for the 17 year old to finish his high school and then I haven't a clue.

Yep, couple cutie-pies.

So, what's with the giant lunch-bag looking thing AND the backpack for Kindergarten?

They send these kids home with books these days. Mine can read them all as she's been doing so for two years now. The lunch box gets packed with freezer packs to keep needed food cold including her water(she only wants water).

Our son starts college Wednesday; his sister begins her Senior H.S. year - and, like the cliches...it dunna' seem too long ago that they were this age (well before my hair was dark gray & silver).

Nice pics!

Mine are no longer cute... they are between cute and handsome.. they are enjoying all of the awkwardness and discomfort that is puberty and middle school..
Is there anyone here that would mind if 7th and 8th grade were erased from memory?

Lily is a photo ham although she never can sit still nor can she shut her mouth. From the minute she gets up in the morning until she goes to bed, her mouth is moving and there lies the challenge for school. She'll be bored eventually when the new wheres off as she's already so far ahead of most of her classmates but she'll have to keep her mouth shut for seemingly unending periods of time.

Lily was a gift from God to a middle aged couple that never thought to have more children but at the same time, she's extremely busy and she was a large gargantuan baby and mother already had shoulder issues so..... ::falldownshocked::

My 7th and 8th grade was chronicled in "Dazed and Confused"...

Enjoy it while you can. Before you know it, she'll be asking for the keys to the car.

Great pics, by the way. ::thumbsup::
