WTF?!

Why did a Fed Chairman have to have a first ever presser to deliver such mundane news?!
Something isn't kosher here...any Fed flunky could have done this...what is the Chairman hiding?!
-
I think this is part of the recently announced regularly scheduled pressers that the Fed will be giving.
The results of the presser are anything but mundane:
Dollar Index: -0.567% value at 73.319
Gold: 1527.20, up 20.10 today
Silver: 47.78, up 2.18

The most of Rush's show I heard today was the last 15 minutes in which he informed the audience he was taking the next two days off to "get to bottom of things. Folks, we're being lied to".
::whatgives::
-
I'm starting to worry that Rush is working on setting up the foreign refuge he has often jokingly referred to. I wouldn't blame him either. If I had the resources to do so, I would. We're on the precipice of bad things here.

Had the opportunity to enjoy his show today. Less histrionics and on point for 3 hrs. What time was that presser?

Oh, but core inflation is being held in check, so says the FedHead!

::speechless::
Enter the real world!
In one day silver bounced up 5%. Yeah, all is well...

It was around 2:15 Eastern, it roughly jumped up about $10 after that and leveled off. Silver jumped about a $1 in that same span.
Obviously, in general, people know well enough not to buy his narrative on face value!

And GDP takes a dip.

I wonder how much lower ti really is...it always gets revised lower as of late...
Obamanomics, misery for everyone! Come get some!
Oh, and jobless claims are up! Woo hoo! Is this economy humming or what?!

That image I posted is a "live" image. Check it out at Libertas quote.
It's been replaced with this one:

Libertas, you might want to change the image url in the quote.
It is a "live" quote. Check it out.

Which post #?

It's still going.
Kitco says it's ok to post their images as long as they are credited. "Live" one's too?
That live quote would be a nice header for the economy thread.
-
I pulled it.
Yeah, having a few graphs locked at the top of the Economy thread would be cool. Wonder if Kitco (or anybody) would go for that? Free advertising!
-
I was just waiting for Mr. Chairman to announce he was authorizing a full audit of the Fed. ::hysterical::
