The car wasn't even parking.  It just drove forward into some morons that put themselves into the path of a forward moving car.

I've heard it a million times. The smarter cars get, the dumber folks get.

  GM has a self parking car but the driver has to shift the trans in drive and reverse the car can't do it  only steers itself and it works well at very low speeds that car was doing about 25/30 mph.
