Title: More Federal land/ocean grabs by Obongo
Post by: Pandora on September 15, 2016, 09:08:25 AM
Big push in his final days ....

8-24-16 ........ " ... in honor of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, President Obama designated the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument ... of north-central Maine.

... The new national monument – which will be managed by the National Park Service – will protect approximately 87,500 acres" ...

9-1-16 ... " ... expand(ed) the Papahnaumokukea Marine National Monument off the coast of Hawaii on Friday, the White House said, an action that will ban commercial fishing from more than 582,500 sq miles (1.5 million sq km) of the Pacific Ocean."

Quote
... The monument was first established 10 years ago by former Republican President George W. Bush, who created the world's largest marine reserve at the time, protecting close to 140,000 sq miles of ocean around the Hawaiian archipelago and inspiring a series of similar projects around the world.

9-16-16 ... "An area two-and-a-half times the size of the Grand Canyon National Park is to become the first National Maritime Monument in the U.S. Atlantic Ocean.

... 4,913-sq.-mi. ...

...The designation, called the Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument, will lie 130 miles southeast of Cape Cod. Commercial fishing as well as “other extractive activities such as mining and drilling” in the protected area is to be phased out, according to a National Geographic report.

... While previous U.S. Administrations have been involved in marine conservation further afield, this will be the first time in history a national marine monument has been declared in U.S. Atlantic waters."

Of course, commercial activities of any kind will be banned.  Actions such as these explain why Cubans are starving, living on an island surrounded by fish.

I can't tell you how outraged and frightened this stuff makes me feel.

Well, once a

always a

So a bunch of people lose jobs...that never stopped this dickhead before...nobody knows how to destroy America with one hand and handjob people with the other like this switch-hitting POS.

And part of this is kinda funny...when the progressive farce finally hits the fan...there are not going to be enough park rangers, tree huggers and critter deifying clowns around to stop hungry angry people from entering any of these areas and hunting and fishing for survival.

Good luck with that.

In the end, like Obama himself, this is all just (http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss291/libertasinfinitio/Crap/Crap.jpg)

What it will have to come down to is states and people simply ignoring these edicts, and forcing a physical confrontation.  Even if the feds win the confrontation, it's necessary to have the confrontation.

If anything the government should be forced to give up more real estate.    The park service already can't handle what it has already.

They forget that all federal land will someday be over run by very desperate people.  Including lands that should be preserved.  But people will have no choice at that point,  so it will all be ruined.

They lock up this land and water to prevent private use more then to preserve it.

Yup, it's like they're putting a padlock on a grocery store and putting one rent-a-cop inside to keep an eye on things and think all will be well forever.

When the shat snaps...is that rent-a-cop going to care about the grocery store or GTFO of there and go home to protect their family?  That lock ain't stopping squat...and when the looting is done they'll be nothing left but garbage.

Yup, great plan...and throwing more people out of work, well, that's just the cherry on top of the progressive turd now, ain't it?

Already we have wilderness and park areas being used as smuggling routes for illegal immigrants and drug runners from Mexico.  They leave sh*t (literally) all over the place.
