Heard on a the radio that his battle with cancer is over.
74 years old.
I remember going to games with my Dad at the old Met, remember seeing him at bat like it was yesterday!
A good player and an even better man!

One of my cousins has fond memories of watching the bright spot that was Killebrew on otherwise horrid Washington Senators teams.
