English Defence League (EDL) founder Tommy Robinson has announced he will stand in the upcoming European Parliament elections.
Mr Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is expected to stand as an MEP candidate in the North West England constituency.
He pledged to represent "the working class of England" if elected as an Independent MEP.
Anti-extremism campaigners Hope Not Hate called for voters to oppose him.
There are nine parties and two Independent candidates standing in the North West MEP elections as follows:
Change UK
Conservative Party
English Democrats
Green Party
Labour Party
Liberal Democrats
The Brexit Party
UK European Union Party
UK Independence Party (UKIP)

English Democrats - As opposed to...? Whatever...probably middle-road socialists who don't want to be as radical or lame as others and probably think they are the truly enlightened.

Labour Party - Old Tyme British Socialists who attended Oxford, Eton, etc. merely waiting out die-back.

UK European Union Party - Eurotards, anti-nationalists.
UK Independence Party (UKIP) - Like most independence parties they become a hodge-podge of funky porridge that leaves you wondering what the fricken point is?
Mohammad Aslam - Independent - Islamofascist bent on converting or killing the indigenous population.
Tommy Robinson - Independent - Pretty much the opposite of all the above, a dangerous firebrand to any existing or would-be status quo.

I really hope Tommy wins. Can you imagine him walking up to an EU MP and even saying hello or sitting next to them? Their lips would snarl, veins in their foreheads would bulge, their faces would turn bright red.... They HATE him.
BTW The EU parliament does not have power as the UK parliament or the US congress does. The EU president and some council does. The power resides at the top. I know very little. Still hearing Tommy talk followed by Farage at the EU would be great. I think Farage has treated Tommy poorly in the past.
