Post by: richb on August 05, 2020, 11:39:23 PM
Actor Wilford Brimley has passed away at age 85.  Best known for his role in Cocoon playing a retired guy when he himself hadn't even turned 50.

No disrespect...I was surprised this was a recent event...always had a lot of roles...shows you don't always have to be good looking, just have to want to work.

I loved him in Absence of Malice. Always good to watch. He comes in near the end of the movie.

I always presume that they're leftists - that way I'm not disappointed when it turns out to be the case. Every once in a while I'm proven (delightedly) wrong ;'}
