Title: Powerline vs. Manhattan Contrarian?
Post by: patentlymn on February 27, 2021, 05:04:55 PM
I recall some here were banned from Powerline for daring to criticize Bill Kristol?
BTW Vox Day is really hard on the bow tie set.
I used to use the link on Powerline to jump to Manhattan Contrarian.  Now it is gone. What was his offense?
I like him for his concise and quantitative articles on the global warming hoax and green energy.

A bunch of us weren't banned, Powerline just shut down the comments on us all and left us scrambling for a place to communicate.

I still don't have 'em bookmarked for that.

I ended up going back...and getting banned.  That Scott Johnson is a delicate little man.

But there was a public mass banning of all those mocking the little cruise ship captain.  I remember that happening a few weeks before they purged me.

Yeah...well they stepped on their own genitals early by tolerating the robust little cabal of dedicated Marxists...and since common sense would require too much time and effort their solution was simple...turn it off...not unlike Marxists they don't want to bother hearing from the indentured servants of America...unlike Marxists they at least kicked all to the curb and didn't single out anybody for censorship.  I reckon their site traffic is probably low and comprised of associates more than anything...only time I get drawn there is when a link goes there...and 80% of the time what I read isn't worth sharing.
