Neither the Russian Security Council nor the US Embassy released any details on the meeting. It comes on the heels of last month's visit of the State Department's Under Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland to Moscow for rare, high-level talks.
Nuland is a real clown. The Duran guys reported her meeting was a disaster.
After years of Russia bashing the US wants to play nice. The Russians are having none of it. All the anti Trump Russia bashing made the Russians think we are nuts.
The US backed out of several arms agreements. I am not saying that was wrong BTW. However, we acted and the Russians reacted. Now the US is butt hurt about recent Russian weapons developments like the hyper sonic missiles.

The Russians think we are nuts. They withdraw forces East and the US advances East and had tanks near the Russian border. Then the US call Russia the aggressor.
The Duran detailed how Ukraine is screwed. They used to trade with Russia, including ag products, heavy industry, aviation, and gas turbines for military and other uses. With sanctions no more trade with Russia and the EU will not allow their ag products into the EU. Finally the Chinese are buying the gas turbines but only until they can fully make them in China. many Ukrainians left the country.
