I finally got around to watching that, and it's actually pretty good.  Despite the commentator's leftist proclivities, he makes some good historical and economic points.

And it illustrates what I've said before:  If the states want to challenge the authority of the federal government, then they need to get off the federal teat ASAP.

ETA:  Funny how Russia Times has more intelligent and thoughtful commentary than most of the U.S. media.  This isn't the first time I've noticed that.

This drone tipped his hand when he protested that Øbongo should use geithner as a weapon against "red-staters" to punish those "who seek to destroy the Obama presidency"

It isn't about problem solving. It isn't the budget, or the debt ceiling, or solvency - it's all about ego and saving face.
