TD created the soundtrack for one of my favorite obscure sci-fi films from the 80's - "The Keep", starrring Scott Glenn, Jurgen Prochnow, Ian McKellen and Gabriel Byrne. The music most definitely dates the movie.

They were cutting edge music in the early 70's.

There's a variant of this still around. It's called "Trance" and it's an offshoot of techno. They feature a lot of it at raves. My daughter used to listen to it.

Tubular Bells is Mike Oldfield.  Another guy most think of as being a one hit wonder, but in reality has a 40 year new age career going for him.

He's OK, but I prefer the more experimantal side of things.  The more German the better.  ::laughonfloor::
