Clever mouse trap
BTW I have a couple 5 gallon traps. one is walk the plank which I prefer. The other is the rolling pin which also works. They drown

Too humane...

I straight-up poison them...

Spiked peanut butter...

I would be afraid they would die inside my walls or ceilings if I poisoned them. .
These buckets clean out the pop real quick. When it gets cold the come into this old house. If you can kill them ll there are no more until next fall. I can catch maybe 10 in one bucket over a week or two then zero.

With dogs we couldn't do that. Have Hava heart traps but then have to release or shoot them. I have a drip leak in my relief valve on the water heater that goes into a bucket(too lazy to replace it) and they drown in it

Understandable for house...

I poison them in garages and crawl space...sister's dogs & my cat not allowed in latter and for the former the dogs kept out which is easier in winter than summer...in summer I revert to traps...
