I think this so-called debt debate deserves a separate thread, there is just too much to look at with the BS streaming out of this asshats mouth!

President Barack Obama declared on Monday there would be no deal on raising the government's debt limit if Republicans won't compromise, and he said he would not sign a short-term extension — raising the stakes on volatile negotiations with the clock ticking toward a Aug. 2 deadline.
"I don't see a path to a deal if they don't budge. Period," the president said in a challenge to his political opponents, accusing Republicans of having a "my way or the highway" posture.
Asked whether or not he would veto legislation temporarily increasing the debt ceiling, the president said: "I will not sign a 30-day, or 60-day, or 90-day extension."
So he gets a free pass by the MFM on the highway option but gets to level it at the Repub's?! What a dick!
You are one lousy player in this drama, and I mean lousy! If anybody has zero cred on fiscal responsibility it is this POS! If there is anybody with zero cred in keeping their word, it is this POS and the DemonRat party! If the Repub's fall for a third time for the "taxes now/cuts later" Lucy-with-the-football play again they deserve utter oblivion!
Calling Repub's "irresponsible" for saying default is not required? How sick and ironic! If he and his hack Treasury chief don't know how to prioritize payments then they should both resign for reasons of stupidity! If he thinks it is responsible to spend us into oblivion and more debt is fabulous then he needs to be dragged out of the White House by his hair!
He's "bent over backward" with the Repub's, and cannot go any further?! WTF has he given up? Nothing! What has he demanded? Everything!

If the Repub's had any stones, they'd take these statements, direct quotes from Duh Wun, and shove them back down his throat as proof positive he a) has no intention of preventing a shutdown and b) desires a shutdown and c) he is going to get a shutdown, and he'll own 100% of it!!!

The Pubbies could own him but they are too timid. Seventy five percent of SS elders think he is FOS, seventy five percent of the country think he is to the left of themselves over fifty percent think he is a total FU, over fifty percent of the country thinks he doen't understand economic, on and on, and his Hispanic approval is at thirty percent his approval is at thirty percent (that means seventy percent don't like him or don't know who he is; jumpin' Gehoseafat his head is on the platter all they need to do is serve it.

They should have they cajones, poll after poll show the vast majority of American's recognize the Federal government has a SPENDING PROBLEM!
Rush quoted a poll today saying 69% know that!
I don't know how much more justification they need!
