Title: New gas can nozzles
Post by: AlanS on August 21, 2011, 05:59:30 PM
Had to buy a couple 5 gal diesel cans for the tractor the other day. The "New and Improved" nozzle SUCKS! It's a waste of time, effort and money.  I found it to be much easier and less messy just to take the damn thing off and use a funnel. That's progress from the government for ya. Thank you EPA.

Yes, I've ranted about this before. The new thumb-trigger nozzles are somewhat of an improvement over the last eco-crap, at least they're controllable when dispensing into small tanks. What I hate is the lack of a vent on the can like they used to always have. I solved that with a few barbed PVC unions from the plumbing section and a drill.
