It would take an entire book to analyze every single grant and government-backed loan doled out since Barack Obama became president. But an examination of grants and guaranteed loans offered by just one stimulus program run by the Department of Energy, for alternative-energy projects, is stunning. The so-called 1705 Loan Guarantee Program and the 1603 Grant Program channeled billions of dollars to all sorts of energy companies. The grants were earmarked for alternative-fuel and green-power projects, so it would not be a surprise to learn that those industries were led by liberals. Furthermore, these were highly competitive grant and loan programs—not usually a hallmark of cronyism. Often fewer than 10 percent of applicants were deemed worthy.

That paragraph looks familiar .....

Per michelleo, it's part of "an article that features a new book called "Throw Them All Out" by Peter Schweizer."

Shocking to see how much taxpayer money they've stolen.

Obama is the Willy Sutton of Presidents.  When Sutton was asked why he robbed banks he famously replied, 'Because that's where the money is.'  With Obama, the story would go 'Why do you rob from taxpayers?'  'Because that's where the money is'.

President John F. Kennedy’s nephew, Robert Kennedy, Jr., netted a $1.4 billion bailout for his company, BrightSource, through a loan guarantee issued by a former employee-turned Department of Energy official.

I forgot, this jackass was one of the first to jump into climate schemes when AlGore first started floating his BS out there...

Another loser of a company run by a loser is given a sh*tload of taxpayer funds to waste!

Another one I wouldn't mind seeing decorating a street light...

Beacon Power, a Massachusetts-based company that won praise from renewable power activists and loan guarantees from the federal government, has filed for bankruptcy, potentially leaving taxpayers on the hook for $43 million.

The company, which promised to build storage devices for intermittent power produced by wind and solar power facilities, was never able to attract investors. Coming on the heels of the Solyndra bankruptcy and ensuing scandal, the Beacon Power bankruptcy has a growing number of people calling for an end to federal loan guarantees for risky alternative energy start-ups.

Another one to add to the list...
