Over the years I’ve had the misfortune of falling head over heels for a new TV show only to see brilliant network executives cancel it before an audience could appear. (http://pjmedia.com/lifestyle/2012/01/04/5-tv-shows-that-didnt-get-the-chance-they-deserved/?singlepage=true)
The author names the five, gives a brief synopsis, and totally misses the all-time best one. Poor deprived schmuck.
Read the comments, too; at least the first 6-7.

Of course that was my first thought when I saw the article title. I guess we here at IAL are just a little more tuned in ;-)

We picked up Firefly and Serenity on DVD last week, and we're through the first 4 episodes. Darn good show.

I hardly remember any of the "top 5" show listed. Maybe a sign of failure?

Or old age. ::exitstageleft:: I know from experience.

A couple of other shows that met an early demise were 'Better Off Ted'' and 'V'. But that's just me. ::saywhat::

Other than recognizing the name Ben Stiller...I still don;t know what shows they are talking about...
