Debate tonight 1-19-12, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2836781/posts)
The field is narrowed to four. Ron Paul,
number four is much closer to Santorum
number three than Santorum is to number
two Mitt Romney. And king of the hill the gNewt
is loaded for bear.
It's a horserace and the jockeys are getting serious. It should be a corker.

I think I'll let y'all take this one.
Have fun.
-
Gosh, another one? This is unprecedented, isn't it? I don't recall anything close to this number of primary debates in cycles past.
-
The most in the history of the world.
-
I did check into chat. I'm bored. Been sick all weekend--hence all the posting today :). Y'all left so no way I'm watching the debate alone.
I guess I should go to bed and try to get better....
-
Hope you feel better soon, Lady V.
I don't have time to watch another debate either.
I was checking in to see what everyone else thought so far.
-
No matter how low your expectations were it didn't reach them.
-
NBC sure knows how to screw up a debate.
Start with the fact that it was tape delayed to the Mountain and Pacific time zones so that we couldn't participate in a live blog.
Continue with the first half hour being about absolutely ZERO that the voters care about.
I would say more but, for me, the debate is only half over at this point.
I hate NBC.

These online snap polls are interesting for discussion fodder, but I think most people (especially Paubots) just cast a vote for their favorite guy, and not the person they objectively think actually won the debate.
-
Predictably the Paulbots* have flooded the Drudge poll. Not that that makes it worthless...you just have to toss out the entire Paul vote. Romney is winning it by a bit over 2%.
*The Paulbots have all been coached on how to vote multiple times. When you see these blowouts it's a few dozen or so Paulbots voting several hundred times each. They define obnoxiousness.

Had I been a candidate I would have never EVER agreed to participate in so many debates . It ensures that the public will be thoroughly sick of all the candidates before spring rolls around .
