My mom sent me a link to a video message from Lt. Gen. (Ret.) W.G. "Jerry" Boykin wherein he warns us of trends which, if allowed to progress, will end our nation. Unlike our new "friend" Questionableman, my mom gets it.

Well worth watching 6 minutes if you haven't yet.
We need military men like Lt. General Boykin, combining their voices in opposition to this regime. If his military training qualifies him to identify Communist insurgencies, and he sees one happening here, than other generals who have received the same training see it too. Where are they? We need them now.

This man affirms everything I've thought so far about this President. When an Obama supporter came to my door back in '08 to encourage me to vote for Obama I told him I thought Obama was a Marxist Socialist out to destroy American freedom and prosperity, he looked at me like was an alien from Mars. It's not at all hard to see the parallels going on today. Yet you can show a liberal this video, and every supporting piece of evidence for his claim, and the liberal reaction would be "You're crazy" or "you're just racist."

They are hardwired to ignore bad news and focus on soft fuzzy kittens instead.
In a series of experiments, researchers closely monitored physiological reactions and eye movements of study participants when shown combinations of both pleasant and unpleasant images. Conservatives reacted more strongly to, fixated more quickly on, and looked longer at the unpleasant images; liberals had stronger reactions to and looked longer at the pleasant images compared with conservatives.....
While liberals' gazes tended to fall upon the pleasant images, such as a beach ball or a bunny rabbit, conservatives clearly focused on the negative images -- of an open wound, a crashed car or a dirty toilet, for example.....
"When conservatives say that liberals are out of it and just don't get it, from this standpoint, that's true," Hibbing said. "And when liberals say 'What are (conservatives) so frightened of? Is the world really that dangerous?' Given what each side sees, what they pay attention to, what they physiologically experience -- the answer is both sides are right."

The self-indulgence and decadence of liberalism is something that only comes into being when a civilization has reached its zenith, you know, after the hardest work has already been done by prior generations and the civilization can insulate such people from reality. But that is also what sets into motion the decline of the civilization. After a while it's back to being food.

It's also why there really is no use in arguing with a liberal. No amount of reasoning or facts will break through the fluffy kittens images. Any attempts to get them to see beyond fluffy kittens and focus on ugly problems will be viewed as just mean and filled with malice. They cannot be helped.

God Bless General Boykin, need more people like this and still more people willing to listen and act.
What do we keep saying? Reality is not optional, reality is going to win in the end, it always does, waiting for it to take shape and then saying "Oh, I didn't know that would happen" just isn't going to fly when the crap his the fan.
