Now they make them virtual prisoners in Egypt awaiting trial for promoting democracy. Oh yeah...and in Uganda (http://www.eonline.com/news/amazing_race_freelance_producer_jeff/295786?utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=imdb_topstories) they just poison their asses...

Local thugs, local govt.......it wouldn't matter. Go to 3rd world countries searching for reality you'll likely find it.

Welcome to reality world. Sometimes the real world is a little rougher than just having your contestants have to figure out how to read a sign on the streets of Taipei (I admit to watching episode 1 of Amazing Race last year)
