All I know is that he's keeping 5 adults running.But I love it. He's 21 months old and is 34 inches tall and eats like a pony.

That's great. This is why, indeed. I am the same way about my two nephews. I never knew it was possible for a human being to possess so much energy! I want them to be able to inherit the sort of America I knew. That's the real danger here, the generation that are children today won't have the benefit of remembering how things used to be different and that will make them especially vulnerable to the Left's fundamental transformation.
Look back at other totalitarian regimes, both the Nazis and the Stalinists believed the current generations of adults were inconvenient obstacles to be intimidated into compliance. They were dangerous because they had living memories of how things were before their fundamental transformation. The real target of these regimes were the children and yet-to-be-born, because they could be molded entirely within the new parameters.
We owe it to our descendents; we cannot and must not condemn them to a reduced existence under statist busybodies!

I went to a talk presented by a Chinese woman. I don't know much about Chinese culture and thought it might be interesting; that and the fact it included a tea ceremony motivated me to go.
Anyway, she was born and raised in China and came to the USA for grad school. She said there is no culture in China today. She said the communists destroyed it all during the cultural revolution. She complained that they even simplified the language (and effectively dumbed it down and thus destroying its beauty and complexity). She said all the culture stuff tourists see are there for the tourists.
She was ignorant of her culture until she went to a production by the Shen Yun production company in the United States. video and info here (http://www.shenyunperformingarts.org/) So inspired by what she discovered from this show she now works to promote it. She had no idea what China's history was and told us she often had assignments in school to write papers on why the old Chinese cultural figures and traditions were wrong. She made no bones about the fact that the communists destroyed China. She mentioned that her comments if spoken in China would get her thrown in jail there.
This company attempts to restore awareness and understanding of Chinese culture to the public. This show couldn't be presented in China she said. She went on to tell us why the United States is the best country in the world. She ended by saying she is proud of the United States and we should be too.
It was a wonderful reminder to appreciate what we have/had and to cling to it and fight for it.

Well,they left at 2:00 A.M. and are well on their way home,and the house seems completely empty without my little man. We've been cleaning since 8:00A.M. and and are still finfing traces of the little guy all over the place and are still trying to figure out when he did what he did without 5 adults not seeing it happen.
The tree foot mark on all the and I mean all of this house has finger prints on them and the wife is not ready to clean them off yet(I think she's lost it)so the sliding doors will be some kind of shrine to his highness I guess.

We had them on the walls as the boys were growing up. Then one day the wife noticed they had moved to the ceiling. She figured out they weren't just boys anymore.
