It is as if no one at Aflac ever bothered to catch his standup act and are "surprised" that this would pop out of his piehole. I have heard him occasionally on XM's comedy channel and (although I am not easily offended) I just can't tolerate his flavor (apparently dogsh*t flavor) of humor. The man goes out of his way to be as offensive as possible. I am aware that most people who get into standup tend to have emotional issues that border on the neurotic (Robin Williams comes to mind) but Gottfried is at the extreme far end of that spectrum.

So gosh, I'm all upset for both parties involved here.

I'll go out a limb and guess this guy is politically left of center.

AFLAC's loss. Yes he's abusive and vile whch about covers it but hell very few knew the duck's voice was his.

As usual I could care less about anyone in the entertainment, if that's what you call it,  industry. ::laughonfloor::

Must be something to the "voice actor for insurance company mascots" industry. The GEICO gecko voice actor was fired for similar tasteless comments a year or so ago.

Must be something in the water . Haley Barbour's Press Secretary was fired yesterday for an e-mail which made a joking reference to the situation in Japan although his comment wasn't as egregious as Gottfried's .
