Three guys beat the snot out of the homeowner and the candidate for a judgeship declares it "unfortunate"?  And that the homeowner "took" signs that did not belong to him?  Off HIS PROPERTY?

This talk about "easements" in the comments frosts me, as well.  Regardless of whether the city/state declares that footage as an easement, if I'm still paying property taxes on it, IT'S MY PROPERTY.

Arrest made in deadly shooting at Family Dollar store

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We have an update to a recent robbery at a Family Dollar store that included the death of a store clerk.

Houston police arrested and charged Dwight Richardson with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Officers are looking for a second suspect. Police accuse the pair of robbing a Family Dollar store at Bellfort near Bullfinch in southeast Houston on May 17.

There was a shooting during the robbery and officers tell us a bullet fired from a customer's gun killed the store clerk.  [ruh ro, scuttlebutt says he had a CCL] 

The District Attorney's office will determine if the case goes to a grand jury.

This wannabe judge is pathetic.  The sad thing is she will win.  Taos is uber liberal.  I'm not so sure I would waste ammunition on these morons.  An ash baseball bat does wonders and you don't have to worry about the vicarious liability associated with discharging your weapon.

Yeah, I'm guessing even a roll of quarters in each fist would work well.
