I wasn't sure where to place this as it will affect General Mills in the pocketbook and will give financially to the enemy of traditional America.
Ford Motors traveled down this road and it hurt them big time in their profit/loss margin. Total insanity as General Mills elects to try it once more. ::bashing:: ::bashing:: ::bashing::

Reminds me of a crude t-shirt I used to see in the early-90s (open ridicule of homos was still normal a mere 20 years ago), it was a spoof of the Trix rabbit that said "Silly faggot, dicks are for chicks!". I guess the Trix rabbit has a new policy now!

See....Now here is the problem.
“General Mills doesn’t normally take positions on ballot measures; this is a business issue that impacts our employees,” said Ken Charles, General Mills vice president of DIVERSITY.
VP of diversity? Only a VP of diversity could make a statement that rejecting traditional marriage will save thier business.
-
LOL! "Ken" sez: "General Mills CEO Ken Peters just became a cereal killer".
-
Has everyone had their "Sweeties" this morning ? ::unknowncomic:: ::mooning::

The pro-marriage initiative, he said, would make it harder for the Minnesota food producer to retain talented workers.
NOM points out U.S. Census Bureau data indicating that there are just over 100,000 same-sex households in America with children under the age of 18. The group contrasts that with the over 35 million traditional American households with children under 18.
Why?Why?
I don't get it. There are that many "talented workers" they'll lose???
Sounds like this VP of diversity wants to make his job appear necessary.
-
What talent is he looking for?

^^ That.

When I heard this on the radio I was both not surprised this outfit has a diversity clown, nor that they said what they said. There are a lot of outfits crawling with leftists and deviants of all stripes gravitate toward them like moths to flame. They made they incorrect choice, now they and all their employees have to live with it.
Here's hoping their revenues hit the crapper. ::beertoast::

Yes, there's more. Snack foods become
politically correct symbols of deviant behavior:
gay Oreo (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-user-polls/post/oreos-gay-pride-cookie-what-do-you-think/2012/06/26/gJQAEjwr4V_blog.html)
gay Starbucks coffee (http://www.dumpstarbucks.com/documents/memo.pdf)
dump General Mills--a list of products (http://www.dumpgeneralmills.com/?REF=EB120625NANT)
Minnesota for Marriage (http://www.minnesotaformarriage.com/)
National Organization for Marriage (http://www.nomblog.com/24744/)
Thirty years ago it was corporations donating to abortion groups. But that's old news, now it gay rights.
(There's something unsettling about biting into a gay Oreo)

I'll read the labels.
Usually you can't find on the generic label who made the stuff . But if the stuff is called "Sugar Frosted Homos" you'll have a pretty good idea !

The homo lobby in this state is a powerful one. It doesn't surprise me that an industry giant could be co-opted by people who sympathize.
I must say, thinking about some queer taking it up the ass the night before coming to work and touching the machines that make my children's breakfast cereal gives me the frikkin willies.
ETA: And I used to love Oreos. I stopped loving them today.

@Priest:
FauxReos baby! (https://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/faux-reos-recipe)
My Wife makes these and let me tell you, they are better than the store bought stuff anyway. ::cool::
So rest easy my young Jedi. For even though the dark side of the force is strong with these ones, they are easily defeated with a simple glass of milk!
Bake, eat, enjoy, repeat! ::thumbsup::

No problem LV! Incidentally, that King Arthur Flour website has many great recipes. It's definitely bookmark worthy! ;)
Incidentally I should also note: My Wife leaves out the espresso powder and the peppermint candy. With those two options left out, the cookies she bakes are just like the store bought variety - except they are obviously fresher tasting and don't have all the preservatives. ::thumbsup::

Suddenly, Cap'n Crunch, Sugar Bear, Tony the Tiger, Honey Bee, and Count Chocula all sound like gay dungeon masters.

That Trix rabbit was a little light, if ya know what I mean.
::thinking::
Silly Wabbit, Trix are for evil San Francisco Uncles attracting little n*****s.
