There is a definite discrepancy between the initial reports of the AR-15 being left in the car and only handguns recovered from the scene, and subsequent reports that every single wound was inflicted with a .223.

Is there anyone honest involved with anything anymore? How do people live with their own consciences? I suppose one has to possess a conscience in order to live with it.

As much as I despise the media, I'm willing to give them a little, very damn little, leeway here. The scene was surely a fuster cluck with information coming from rumors, second hand speculation, etc.

But that's it. After while, they should have had their feces consolidated.

The .223 is a rifle AND a pistol round.  As far as "reports" on the rifle being used, that does not square with early video of one of the cops on the scene clearing a rifle of ammunition at the trunk of Nancy Lanza's car.

Also, my understanding is that he was allowed into the building. The implication is that there was some sort of secured entry point, and that he was cleared through it. If he was visibly armed they would not have let him in. And aren't there security cameras that could provide an immediate answer?
