In my day boys had the message the difficulty was getting the girls to get it.  This permission goes a long way to validating the boys message.

Here's my prediction:  actual contraceptive use will decline because why bother; the girls will be routinely popping these pills instead, afterward.

Yup, and the incidence of STDs soon to skyrocket...libiots always create a lot of destruction along the way...this will be no different...

At 15 you are old enough to decide to have irresponsible sex and then avoid the consequences, but you are NOT ( and never will be ) old enough to decide how much Soda you can consume.

Well, the real objective is to reduce the number of humans populating the earth.  It will no doubt contribute in that regard, but may well help to clean up the gene pool as an unintended consequence, at the expense of their numbers, perhaps.

Many still breed, some too stupid/lazy to bother with contraceptives...new arrivals are notorious and prodigious breeders...the trend is not good, this likely won't make a dent.
