Well...yeah, what else would we expect from the head of the pedophile & pederast party? And no surprise the indoctrinators of the Chitcago Syndicate are the first to act.

Reason No. 1053 as to why I homeschool.
Age appropriate as decided by??? I've seen materials over the years supposedly age-appropriate. I felt like I needed a shower after because some of it is so disgusting.

Obviously you are not a typical moonbat progressive. Thank God! ::thumbsup::

Exactly what is in "age-appropriate" sex ed for Kindergarteners? The premise itself is ridiculous, and a not very opaque mask for sexualizing kids at earlier ages.

Well, two of my adult kids have been having this conversation with 2 friends. The two friends think this is great! They're confident that it will be age-appropriate...kids ask questions, they need to know there are all kinds of "families" etc. They have ceded the entire idea of childhood innocence years ago. They'd support it if it came to their schools.
Yet when they were told that they may be right in all their observations but that this mandate by the Chicago disregarded parental rights-- in that some parents may not want their children taught that yet-- they had no response. They stopped responding I guess until they can think of something. The interesting thing about this conversation is that as typical libs they kept trying to go off track because they're not used to staying on point and arguing only that point.

They'll go consult the Talking Points and come back with "not all kids have good parents and so "we" need to fill-in-the blank". It's what always is provided as the reason for dragging any issue down to the level of the lowest common denominator whether it's feeding kids breakfast at school (despite the prevalence of "food assistance") or sex education, that a minority of kids have sh*tty parent/s.

So a backdoor admission that one-size-fits-all state mandates are imperfect? Awesome, throw that at 'em and challenge them to ask why it should even be attempted. The nation thrived well without overbearing meddlesome government for decades until progressives came along...they ruin everything by tyring to be everything to everyone...a clear sign that overreach is in process. Intelligence is recognizing the real problem and doing nothing is often the right course of action...people need to read up on the Founders and Framers thoughts on Federalism and the role of central and local government...and hint hint, the latter should be weighted heavier than the former. They meddle because they've been allowed to. We have met the enemy...they surround us.
