God is so hated by the secular world, that it's tempting for me to grasp any worldly assertion that supports, rather than opposes Him.
I like science, and respect true scientists. But the scientific world is corrupted, and I'm not inclined to place my faith in the position of being supported or opposed by science. He is, no matter what science says.

Agreed. I just thought it interesting that someone would take the time and resources to try to prove it out.

It is interesting, don't get me wrong. I s'pose that's the "tempting" part I referenced above.

Yes, the risk is accepting the premise of science before belief, when one should not exclude the other in any analysis...the former leaves the door open for an enterprising non-believer to come up with something to flip the conclusion. Interesting but ultimately not material to belief.
