Sally Jewell.
John Usher.
Ring any bells?
Didn't think so.
They're both nobodies - well, actually, they're both Secretaries of the Interior.
The difference is when Usher travelled to Gettysburg, he went with his President.
When Jewell goes this November, she'll be the headliner - her President is taking a pass.
Obama will be a no-show at the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
For a president who has so demonstrably associated himself with Lincoln - the heir of Lincoln's policies who announced his candidacy from the steps of the Old State Capitol in Springfield and used the Lincoln Bible (twice) at his inauguration - this is nothing less than a profile in cowardice.
In the end, Barack Obama simply didn't have the stones.
It's sad.
And telling.
History will note that Lincoln's legacy did not live up to the challenge.

He's a child.

Too bad. Following the, uhm...path of Lincoln would be just the thing to counter some of the negative fallout from Obama's evil agenda.

Probably has a Black Panther appearance or something more worthwhile(less) than that to attend, eh?

Most likely a fundraiser.

He has followed Lincoln quite well.
He has strengthened the executive and assumed tyrannical, dictatorial powers
Just like Lincoln

Frankly, its better he doesn't come. Then Gettysburg is the focus of the event, not the man-child and his meltdowns. It's best he won't be on the 150th photos too, history will thank us, since he isn't worthy to be there anyway.

Good observation, the photos of the event will become part of Gettysburg history and it would be better to a good clean photo without he who will go down in history as our affirmative action president.

I dunno, PDF...can u imagine how insufferable the left would become, if not outright bellicose, if that happened. Part of me doesn't mind, being of the "If there be trouble, let it be in my day so my children will know peace!" mindset, but I sure as sh*t don't want to see him on any bills I may have to pass.
BTW, I used to go by the name of nolan back at IAF.
Good to see you back around these parts.

Thanks...good t'see you too, Nolan/Dan.
We probably shouldn't debate this too deeply. But I weigh 1 tyrant vs. 300,000 million destroyed lives & have no problem making a personal decision on the matter - but doubt it will come about. I know from networking that there are a great many serious, legitimate organizations opposed to the Muslim Princess's edicts/decrees & that helps assuage the near helplessness I sometimes feel when i consider what WOULD be happening in an environment where the Constitution was not only respected...but the genuine law of the land (as opposed to the theoretical law of the land).
