Title: United States Presidents

A research project from years ago was a 4-5 year study of Presidents, for a history book I wrote for each of my grandchildren.  If there is an interest, I'll post some of the things I learned concerning each one - [fortunately I had finished it prior to the 'thing' in office now].
Anyway - here goes;

It's been said that Lawyers make up the majority of politicians, I guess to perpetuate their livelyhood, [make the laws they can attack in court].

Well here is a run down of the Previous professions of Presidents;

With a few minor blips you can really see the decline reflected in the persons...especially since the progressive era began!   ::pullhair::

It would be really easy, and very valuable to posit an amendment to the constitution prohibiting lawyers. It might have saved our country, had it been done from the start.

The early ones were OK, later on they got meddlesome...a sunset clause would have been nice.

Today lawyers would sue on the basis of "discrimination".

How many professions [term used loosely] can they say write the laws that they can enforce at will.
With so many lawyers in the country, they have to perpetuate their own livelyhood.  ::pokeineye:: ::outrage::
