Title: Developer finds "bug" in Google Chrome that lets it eavesdrop through microphone
Post by: Glock32 on January 23, 2014, 08:59:25 PM
This is precious, they're calling it a "bug".  Anyhow, a programmer who was developing speech recognition software discovered that there is an exploit in Google's Chrome browser that allows an eavesdropper to commandeer the computer's microphone and listen to conversations in the room.

The Infowars crowd has a pet theory that Google isn't merely cooperative with the NSA, but it in fact is the NSA. It's not that farfetched really. And honestly, does it even matter whether we're talking 0, 1, or 2 degrees of separation? The result is the same.

If you like your eavesdropping you can keep your eavesdropping.  Actually, you have no choice in the matter.  All your internets belong to us!
