Worse than the Clinton cuts...and getting rid of the A-10 which many a ground-pounder views as a front-line ass-saver isn't going to be popular...like the Big Chiefs in REMFworld are going to call in a (est. 2014 unit cost ranging from) $98-116M aircraft for ground support instead of a $13M Warthog. Yeah.
Should be getting lighter, quicker and deadlier on lower unit cost items across the board...planes, ships, everything.
We will be weaker, overly reliant on technology and more vulnerable to system failures and useless fractured leadership the way we are going.
Meanwhile, the much more massive and nefarious social welfare spending and black budget crap funding Prism et al is marching merrily onwards and upwards...

I know the A10 is getting to be a little long in the tooth, but it remains an excellent ATG platform. Really hate to see that one go...
And yes, it is disgusting seeing our nation, culture, morals, military, and anything else these sycophants are trying to destroy to see their dreams of power and control come into fruition. They would happily see this nation burned to the ground if they could only rule over the ashes.

The over reliance on tech in any area bothers me. It has replaced actual thinking for a lot of people and many assume it's a substitute for experience.

And it is getting more worrisome with the increased reliance upon and growth in drone technology. Kinda SkyNet spooky. Machines don't feel, question or argue...and can be hacked.

I suspect some might consider that a positive.
A drone can't ask if you really want to kill that 16 year old.
