Title: Yellowstone Rattling Again
Post by: Libertas on March 31, 2014, 06:56:07 AM
Quakes nothing new here...gets hundreds of them in a year sometimes, most are usually small though, part of the increasing magma bulge no doubt...but a 4.8 hasn't been felt there since 1980...

...if this sucker ever goes, the lights will go out.  Glad I got to tour it while it was tame.

When it blows, the whole park will be a crater.

When it blows, the whole park will be a crater.

When it blows life as we know it will be a crater. Hoping it is many centuries in the future.

OK, this article may be a little   ::foilhathelicopter::  -ish...but I have never seen Bison run single file down any road before...that alone in entertaining...as to possible link to the quake and impending doom?  I dunno.  What are the other critters doing?

They do have a nice map though of the historical primary ash coverage...primary equalling a butt-load!

Don't recall coming across this site before...seems to be some sort of Chinese Ex-Pat news portal or something (http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/about-us/).

Good news is the ash makes a nice concrete mixture or at least it did for Rome. Perhaps we can convince Obama to make peace with the volcano by throwing VJ, HRC and the moose in it. ::hysterical::

Maybe so. However, I'm more than willing to chance it!  ::hysterical::
