But I spent the evening in town at a festival we have. Large doses of Cajun music with bands all day long. The last one I listened to was one I haven't heard or heard of. His name is Gerard Delafose. He's pretty good, but still has a ways to make it to the level of his uncle, Geno Delafose.

Love zydeco! Such an original American sound. I went through a Buckwheat Zydeco phase many years ago. Didn't come out of my tape deck for a whole summer.

You really need to make a trip in the spring or fall when the festivals are in full swing.
