I guarantee that lil Biden was using the military to establish his bone fides for the inevitable political career. (Kinda, sorta like our present Sec/State who served in Vietnam for 5 months)

This is really odd because judging by the way the government works these days he should have been promoted to admiral or something instead of thrown out.
