Progs in Canada lose their last ditch efforts to retain one small piece of the infamous Long Gun Registry

The Supreme Court Of Canada ruled today for the destruction of the data in the now defunct Long Gun Registry

ps... Quebec will never start their own registry unless they can weasel the money out of the Feds to do so.  plus that, the former version had about 30% compliance the new one will have even less.

Excellent. It's interesting to watch Canada edge to the Right, learning from its overreaches, while the US seems to be in full-fledged Leftist freefall. I wonder if what is happening here is alarming to the majority of Canadians?

Its essentially worthless after a week, when the big one was tossed, the gun owners in Canada started trading,  selling lending, giving away all the guns listed in... Then we sent to one of our lobby groups the exchange numbers... 10's of thousands were exchanged in about a month...   the Progs were speechless and immediately started whining we weren't playing fair... It was hysterically funny.

The latest angst moment for the progs in Canada, is legislation that will allow for easier handgun carry nation wide.  Plus that it restricts the power of the provincial CFO's (Our version of the BATF)

They are moaning and bawling in the parliament, when here's the reality.

Of course, we had one NDP (Socialist) member ranting about cutting moose in half with an AK 47, if this legislation goes through.
