Title: Flip Saunders, 60, complications from treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma

Flip was a good guy, was on the best Gopher basketball team ever, and he had these little basketball tricks he did since like forever, and he was what people call "a coach's coach" thus his coaching career results-wise was a mixed bag.  My father took me to some games of this era.  Kinda odd that the first Timberwolves head coach and Flip's college coach Bill Musselman also died really young...59 of heart failure after suffering a stroke a few months earlier.

Going at 60 stinks, the big "C" claims another mortal shell, but it has no claim on the soul.

RIP Flip.

That's a sad one, for sure.  60 is too young.
