I always knew those meat-haters were nucking futs!

What a bunch of Johnny-come-lately's!

It's the Bs.  The brain needs 'em, the genuine ones are found only in red meat, and supplements are almost useless.

The last band I was in brought in a keyboard player who would often lecture us on the virtues of veganism. I had to laugh because he was so anemic and lethargic. At first I thought it was some other condition until he brought his wife to one of our gigs - she was in the same sad condition!

The fact that they were both potheads didn't help anything.

After a while when he would lecture I would point to him and say, "Good God man, you look like death warmed over! Eat some meat! Have a hamburger, suck on a bullion cube - anything!"

At first I did think he was a junkie (far too prevalent in the rock music scene). He wasn't. He was an "all-organic" herbster.

Somehow, none of this surprises me. My mother turned from the consummation of flesh to grazing and she votes as though she's been on drugs. Had her 80th over the weekend. For about fifteen years now she's been flightier nonsensical and while she's healthier in body, her mind has left the building. I use to chalk it up to age but I've known for a while the vitamins that the brain needs are in meat. In fact the smartest creatures on the planet, large developed brains are carnivorous.

Take a set of identical twins and give one a vegan diet and the other that of a carnivore and watch the difference as age progresses.

Oh Lord, did I do that? Yes, I meant consumption. To early to post I guess.

Well, consummating can happen any time.  When it's our parents we hope to never catch sight of it!

My experience with Vegans is (thankfully) limited, I recall one gal at a place I worked once...always seemed to be sickly and lethargic.  I thought she was gay until I learned she didn't eat meat...well, could have been gay too.
