A Louisiana family's holiday photo is causing controversy across the state.
The family photo shows the mother and two of the daughters bound in Christmas lights with green tape across their mouths. The son is shown rejoicing, and the father is holding a sign with "Peace on Earth" written on it.
The photo posted on Dec. 13 by Hannah Hawkes Photography has over 6,000 shares and various responses from Facebook critics.
The next day the photographer responded saying, "I would like to say that as a female I do NOT and have never promoted violence to women! I do not support abuse, or the degradation of women. My controversial photo was taken by request by the family, and was in no way meant to promote abuse. This photo was taken with humor in mind, and was meant as a comical Christmas photo."
I think it's funny as hell. ::laughonfloor::

Somehow, I think it's a political statement but I'm just not sure. ::laughonfloor::

I like it!!

I don't care who you are, that there is funny! ::hysterical::
For any humorless libiots (I know, I repeated myself, but I want to emphasize the point) that whines about this merely say the following:
"This picture was meant in jest and probably meant only for friends and family of the family in the picture. Anybody with common sense knows it was meant in fun. If you want to get riled up about the actual treatment of women by predators, lets have a discussion about Islam and Bill Clinton, otherwise, shut up and piss off! Oh, and you be sure to have a Merry Christmas!".
