SITUATION:

Due to the current situation relating to North Korea, we are raising the AmCON to Level 4.  The following was carefully taken into consideration:

1.       North Korea recently detonated a thermo-nuclear device underground.

     2.       North Korea launched a ballistic missile carrying an unknown satellite payload.

     3.       The orbit of the satellite takes it directly over Nebraska at an altitude of approximately 300 miles.

     4.       Tuesday, February 16th is the 75th anniversary of the Kim Jung regime.

     5.       North Korea just executed the Minister of Defense.
