He was in a ton of good movies. Everybody mentions Coll Hand Luke, but I also like The Eiger Sanction, The Dirty Dozen, In Harm's Way, The Sons of Katie Elder, Cahill US Marshall...
It's like a neighbor passed away...
RIP George.

George was good at playing bad guys as well as good.
Just a good ol boy.
-
He worked right up until the end, also. 91 is a good run.
RIP

I thought his role as a bad guy in Cahill, U.S. Marshall was one of the best! RIP!

ONE OF THE GOOD ONES. RIP

Will miss his appearances on new flicks , RIP, but we have him to remember on the ones he's already in.
George Kennedy put aside show business during World War II, served under General Patton, and was in the United States Army for 16 years, seeing combat and working in the Armed Forces radio. He was involved with the opening of the first Army Information Office.
Just a tidbit
