Gotta love NC. Back in the early 90's when I worked for Ma Bell and attending NoTelCom school in Raleigh I discovered the Outer Banks and gun shows. Being from NJ even back then I got my a$$ handed to me asking NJ based questions about a purchase. Anyway bought a few "items" and carried them back thru Embassy Suites and no one batted an eye.

I think 2A sanctuary movements as well as outright defiance and a GFY attitude are needed more than ever.
This BS with the NZ self-described eco-fascist...or run-of-the-mill tree-hugger as we call them here....shooting up a bunch of muzzies...is looking like a progressive Op on foreign soil to gin up the crackdown on lawful gun owners here who pose ZERO threat to anybody, with the notable exception of usurpers of Liberty that Our Founders warned us about and for whom ratification of the new Constitution it was necessary to put the 2A in the Bill of Rights to ensure ratification!

Kurt's FU to Bernie et al is the right and necessary attitude.
The wisdom of The Founders in undeniable and inescapable...the Second Amendment codified a natural and basic God-given right...it cannot be taken away by force, it cannot be taken away or legitimized by any mob action...it is inviolate and eternal. The fact that anyone tries to take it away under any guise triggers its free exercise.
Actions like bans and confiscations, national efforts to pre-criminalize gun owners (https://itsaboutliberty.com/index.php/topic,17058.0.html) and state efforts like in Minnesota and other states and efforts in states to bully sheriff's into resisting local 2A Sanctuary ordinances (http://www.captainsjournal.com/2019/03/20/colorado-ag-tells-sheriffs-to-resign-or-enforce-red-flag-law/) all need to be fought and resisted!
They deserve a hearty "FU!" and a robust defiance!

Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams disagrees so much with a gun bill making its way through the Colorado legislature that he's willing to go to jail rather than enforce it.
"It's a matter of doing what's right," he said.
He's not the only one who feels so strongly.
The controversial "red flag" bill aims to seize guns temporarily from people who are deemed to be a threat to themselves or others.
Colorado's state Senate passed the bill Thursday by a single vote, without any Republican support, and the bill is expected to pass the House, possibly this week. With Democratic majorities in both chambers, state Republicans have too few votes to stand in the way.
But more than half of Colorado's 64 counties officially oppose the bill. Many have even declared themselves Second Amendment "sanctuary" counties in protest.
Failure to enforce a court order to seize a person's guns could mean sheriffs being found in contempt. A judge could fine them indefinitely, or even send them to jail to force them to comply.
Reams says it's a sacrifice he'd be forced to make.
The bill wouldn't officially come into force until next year, but El Paso County is planning to launch a legal challenge as soon as it is signed into law.
In a statement, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser said he is "confident that when and if the time comes, all law enforcement officials will follow the rule of law."
But Reams is steadfast.
"I've explained that time and time again," he said. "I'm not bluffing."

And something else these fascisti ought to keep well in mind...Sheriff's like this can get a posse of deputies from supportive citizens I think pretty quick and easy...I know if one near me put the call out I'd report for duty!
