I give him credit, he was anti-establishment at a time when it was not nearly as desperate a time to need to be.  His "giant sucking sound" prediction sadly came to be.  He did what Carter could not - rescue people from the Satanic Theocratic Terrorists in Tehran.  He helped fund The Vietnam Wall and to look for POWs.  41 was a traitor to Reagan, any dumbass saying Ross cost the Pubbies the White House and let Clinton in isn't paying attention...apart from the sleaze-factor and casual corruption there wasn't a spit bit of difference between 41 and 42 in the grand scheme of things.   The worst I can say about him is his pro-abortion/pro-planned infanticide position...but there are a lot of liberal pubbies and a slew of Libertarians in that sullied boat too.

Overall a decent fella who tried to fight the establishment and got crushed by it.
