Frankly, bringing this up on day one of your tenure would have garnered a little more attention to the porblems the alliance faces! But thanks for the parting wisdom!

We cannot afford to carry the full financial and logistcal weight all by ourselves anymore, either the Euro's contribute more of both or we can bid them a good day.
