Title: Greece is toast anyway
Post by: AlanS on June 24, 2011, 07:38:30 PM
Despite ausparity, Greece will still have to default on loans. My, isn't the world brighter today with all of the little socialists schemes coming home to roost? ::gaah::

Everybody but the PIGS have penciled in a default.  When it happens there will be a short term market shock then it will be business as usual, except in Greece.

It's a domino effect, and the key one seems to be Italy, if they fold, they might take Europe with them, and the turmoil in all the markets will be horrendous...exchange brakes will slam on and everytime they try to reopen the brakes will come crashing down again.  Good luck finding a lending partner then, it will be financial Darwinism at its worst.
