"...nothing unusual..."

Uhh huh, so he says and so the NY Times reports.  Case closed, eh?  If this happened on Bush's watch you think it would be case closed?

I know not to expect better reporting, but I do expect better answers.  If I lost someone on that mission I would not be pleased with such a pat answer.  To give the guy a mild break, part of this is because releasing investigation details may reveal operational information best kept to ourselves, but certainly the decision makers and the reasons for their actions in deviating from using the 160th for transport for example can be disclosed!

Totally unsatisfactory response thusfar and not giving me good feelings about any forthcoming report on this incident.  Between Obama's dreadful mishandling of this war (the ROE's, hands-tied intelligence rules etc) and REMF's being OK with this BS I just want my people pulled out.  If you're not in to win GTFO!
